Creator/Contributor:
Bev Washburn Studios, creator, photographer.
Abstract:
Professional photographs of automobiles, perhaps to document automobile club activities and/or automobile shows, most taken
at points of interest throughout San Francisco in the 1920s. Many automobiles are painted with text or outfitted with signs
describing make, history, etc. Among the identified manufacturers represented are National (Nash), Oldsmobile, Franklin, Ford,
Studebaker, R.E.O., Buick, Packard and Overland. Many images include automobile enthusiasts posing, often humorously, with
the cars. Two images depict numerous cars being loaded or unloaded onto flatbed railroad cars. One image depicts a Studebaker
