Attorney for the Northern District of California for sex trafficking, visa fraud, and tax code violations in 2000. Materials
in the collection were collected and/or created by Diana E.H. Russell between 1999 and 2018.

Diana Russell, was a writer and Mills College professor who, along with Berkeley resident Marcia Poole, was instrumental in
the investigation of Reddy by bringing attention to his crimes through community action and organized boycotts of Reddy's
Berkeley restaurant. The Reddy case served as an impetus for the anti-sex trafficking movement in California.
