Abstract:
Promotional materials (in black paper folder with photocopy of publicity shot on cover) for a film about lesbian history in
Califorina containing a flyer, exhibition schedule for showings throughout the United States and Canada, a publicity photograph
(8x10, b&w) from Jane Jones, a lesbian bar in Los Angeles (circa 1942) which was used to promote the film, and a brief history
of the project with cast and crew information included. Also includes photocopies of reviews of the film from major publications
such as Variety and the Boston Globe.

"Last Call at Maud's" is a tour of California's lesbian bar scene from World War ll to "last call" at a San Francisco's landmark,
Maud's, the oldest lesbian bar in the world. The film interweaves rare archive film of the gay bar scene in the 1940's, the
vice raids of the 1950's, the gay counter culture of the 1960's and "coming out" in the 1970's up until the bar closed its
doors in 1989. Paris Poirier director and co-producer ; Karen Kiss, co-producer ; Cheryl Rosenthal, cinematographer ; Tim
