Abstract:
Folder 1 (nos. 1-12) contains "Al Norte y P'atras", a 12-print series depicting various aspects of the experience of Mexican
migrant farm workers in California's Salinas Valley (e.g. a farm and family in Mexico, the ordeals of broder crossing, waiting
for work, labor in the fields, transfering money home to family, etc.). Folder 2 (nos. 13-17) contains a miscellany of other
works by the artist, including scenes in Los Angeles, the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl, and a portrait of legendary Californio
bandit Tiburcio Vásquez.
