Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1940, Kent Taylor began writing poetry while in college. After college he returned to Cleveland
and became friends with d.a. levy and a member of the underground poetry scene of the 1960's. He moved to San Francisco in
1970. Over the years he stayed in touch with friends and poets from Cleveland, and participated in many tributes to d.a.
levy.
