Burning Man is a temporary community that exists in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada each Labor Day weekend. Individuals from
all over the world gather to create a unique environment that focuses on creativity, art, and freedom of expression. A special
feature of the event is a large wooden statue that is burned during the last evening.
Michael Mikel (a.k.a. "Danger Ranger," Michael Michael, MichaelĀ², M2) is a founding board member of the Burning Man Project.
He joined Burning Man in 1988 and initialized much of Burning Man's progress over the years.
