Abstract:
Many photographs relate to wildlife (possibly related to Bailey's scientific career and on U.S. Biological Surveys) showing
animals in traps, in the wild, etc. Other nature photographs show detailed views of plants and views of rock formations and
topography. Photos relating to Indians show various pueblos (Taos, Acoma, Laguna, Zuni, etc.), a Shoshone Indian ranch, and
Indians doing various activities (fiestas, dances, races). Some family photos, group portraits, and views of camping also
included. Locations photographed: Washington (Mazamas outing of 1896, Mt. Rainier, etc.), Oregon (Crater Lake, Columbia River),
California, Montana, Dakotas, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico (many), Texas, and possibly others.
