Abstract:
Family photographs such as portraits of family, friends, and others by various (often unidentified) photographers and many
likely by Cedric Wright, as well as snapshots of family life and Wright's youth (BANC PIC 1977.067--PIC box 1). Many photographs
by Wright show children (school activities, portraits), outings (hiking, fishing), musical instruments, etc. Five small personal
photograph albums depict family outings and leisure, and postcards from travels to Czechoslovakia and Austria (BANC PIC 1977.066--PIC
box 4). Portraits and snapshots of Wright are present, including several of him playing violin (BANC PIC 1977.067--PIC box
1); several snapshots of Ansel Adams are also included (1977.066--PIC box 2). In addition to personal family photographs and
portraiture, this collection includes many small format working prints of Wright's nature photography, chiefly Sierra Nevada
landscapes, nature studies, and cloud studies (1977.066--PIC box 2), and a "Graphic report of proposed recreational facilities
for the East Bay Regional Park Service" featuring children engaged in outdoor recreation (1977.066--PIC box 1).
