Abstract:
Chiefly copies of Jukes's correspondence, articles, speeches, and miscellaneous writings concerning his research and views
regarding the use of pesticides, particularly DDT, which he sent to Prof. J. Gordon Edwards. Most of the materials have been
annotated by both Jukes and Edwards; Edwards supplied all the folder headings, along with his editorial comments concerning
the materials and issues discussed. Jukes and Edwards were staunch proponents of DDT, and these materials document their controversies
