The Berkeley City Club was incorporated in 1927 in Berkeley (Calif.). The Club's purpose was to promote fellowship among its
members through cultural, educational, philanthropic and civic activities. The Club was originally a women's club, but eventually
men were allowed to join as full members. The club commissioned Julia Morgan to design their club building.
