Abstract:
Consists of internal corporate and production files, and radio scripts of the "electronic transcriptions" that Grayson-Rosser
Productions produced. The internal files include statements regarding the founding of the company, memos detailing the duties
and expectations of the staff, production files from the production and sound departments, correspondence regarding advertising
in Russia, other advertising files, and miscellaneous memos. The radio plays were written by King Hamilton Grayson and Winifred
Rosser, and are first copyrighted to Radio Programs, Limited, and later to King Hamilton Grayson and Winifred Rosser and Associates;
the catalog gives the company name as Grayson-Rosser Productions and their location in the Oakland Tribune Tower. The subjects
of the plays include the histories, mysteries, comedies, dramas, and one murder mystery set in Oakland, Calif. The scripts
and catalogs contain annotations regarding actors and sounds. The majority of the scripts were used by Everett Glass, Dramatic
Director and Vice President, James D. Munro, Production Director, and sound engineers Leonard L. Hohl and John H. Fiske.
