University of Ohio. v. 2 - Copy, begun, Sept. 1847, of a portion of his diary; letters (3) to his family while serving in
Mexico and letter from his father giving home news; letter, 1886, from General W.T. Sherman concerning service reunions; ephemera.
v. 3 - newspapers and newspaper articles pertaining to Lincoln's 1860 campaign and various Civil War engagements, particularly
the Battle of Shiloh (in which Loudon participated).
