Abstract:
Ed Roberts tells of his decision to attend the University of California, Berkeley, and living at Cowell Hospital there, his
interest in athletics, and his early contact with the California Department of Rehabilitation through its involvement in the
Cowell Hospital program; he talks of his first experiences with his electric wheelchair, and being architectural consultant
to Arleigh Williams, Dean of Men at UC Berkeley.
