Handwritten note of Joaquin Miller to his friend, Henry (Harry) Edwards: "My dear Harry, I am beginning to find that almost
any mechanic can make the form of a man; but it takes a god to breathe a Soul into that form. This appropos [sic] of art and
artists. Yours always, Joaquin Miller, New York, Oct. 21, 79." Also includes a newspaper clipping containing a poem written
by Joaquin Miller in July, 1891, titled, "In Memory: Bohemia to Harry Edwards."
