Title:
Missionaries in Mexico and elsewhere
Abstract:
Chiefly snapshots in northern and central Mexico. The first page has a postcard of the Sarah Davis Deterding "College of Missions"
in Indianapolis, Indiana. Includes many snapshots and group portraits of young women and children (presumably from American
Protestant mission schools), and scenes from auto and train travels around Mexico to unidentified villages and pre-Columbian
sites. Some identifiable locations are Zacatecas, Acambaro, and Guanajuato. A few photographs appear to be in India and possibly
the Caribbean or another tropical locale. Some snapshots in the United States are present.
