Abstract:
Views of Alaska focus on the Russian community there, including photographs of the Imperial Russian coat of arms, religious
processions, Orthodox church activities, other church views, a wedding scene, a Christmas tree, the Russian orphanage, school
children, etc. Other views show a Hoonan [?] priest's home, the Taku harbor, petroglyphs, general views of Unalaska, a fur
seal rookery, and sea otters. Locations include Juneau, Mt. Pogromnaia, Nikolski village, Attu, St. Paul's Island, and Unalaska.
