of Grass Valley show the convent and church, the old mill, large groups of men picnicking, horseracing at Glenbrook Park,
etc. Other photos show general views of Nevada City, Donner Lake and vicinity, snow sheds at Donner Summit, a train at Old
Idaho Gap (between Grass Valley and Colfax), and other railroad scenes. Views related to the Dorsey family's Idaho-Maryland
Mine show mine buildings, reconstruction of the interior, Maryland Mine #2, Maryland resevoir (used for water and power),
and Deer Creek Falls (with V.L. Dorsey pictured).
