Abstract:
Views of eleven missions, featuring buildings, friars in mission gardens, cemeteries, etc.
Views related to Indians of New Mexico document many aspects of life, including pueblos (interiors and exteriors of buildings);
inhabitants and general views from the pueblos of Acoma, Laguna, and Isleta; portraits of Indians in ceremonial dress; children
dancing; Zuni war dances and harvest ceremony activities, etc. Other views of New Mexico show Albuquerque (train station,
patio of the Alvarado, parks, streets, churches, hotels), the University of New Mexico pueblo-style dormitories, hotels at
Las Vegas Hot Springs (New Mexico), views of Santa Fe and Taos, and others. Other photos show trains, depots, adobe churches
(and other adobes), rock formations, landscapes, and similar scenes from various locations in New Mexico.
