Abstract:
Portraits of military officers, women activists, soldiers in camp, scenes after battles, executions, and street scenes. Views
in and around Agua Prieta, Columbus (New Mexico), Veracruz, Tampico, and Cuernavaca are included (among others). Also includes
group portraits from the First Congress of Labor and some related to the Congreso Feminista de Yucatan. Portraits of generals
and revolutionary leaders as well as rank and file Zapatistas and Federales are present, and some of United States troops.
Many images are "real photo" postcards.
Views, from Arizona and Texas, include political events, rallies, and the American Federation of Labor. Includes images of
pickets in Duncan, Arizona in 1915 and the coal miners' strike and Mother Jones Parade in Trinidad, Colorado in 1914.
