Abstract:
Primarily California views including scenic photographs of the Pfeiffer Redwoods State Park and other California state parks.
A number of snapshots of Big Sur and Point Lobos areas, as well as Danie Muir's Fountain Lake farm in Wisconsin are also included.
In addition, several photos of Colby's residences, including Shan Shui in Big Sur are also found. Collection also includes
views of the Palace of Fine Arts and other buildings of the Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Several
views of California missions and a tintype and a carte de visite inscribed "Jake, Nov. 1876" are also present.
