Letters written by a Union soldier from Louisiana during the Civil War describing his day-to-day experiences and complaints.
One letter speaks of the siege of Vicksburg, and another on July 4th of the rebel surrender. Also contains his discharge certificate,
and a statement written twenty years later, possibly for a reunion of his regiment.
