Photographs documenting Shasta County mining operations of the Greenhorn Mining Company from the 1920s to the early 1940s,
when it was acquired by Acme Mining Company. Images include general views, strip mining activities and the associated pit,
mine portals, dumps, a mill under construction, warehouses and other facilities, outcroppings and other features of Greenhorn
Mountain and the surrounding terrain, Willow Creek, roads, and a nearby prison camp.

the name of Greenhorn Mining Company until it was acquired by Acme Mining Company on August 3, 1942.
